Twice the Love at Sterling Subaru - Ashley Q
Sometimes, the right pets find you exactly when you need them the most. After seeing Jess the Beagle on Aggieland Humane's KBTX Pet of the Week segment, they knew they needed to make her theirs. They had very recently lost a Beagle who looked just like her and life just didn't feel the same without that signature Beagle goofiness. Little did they know... they would leave our Sterling Subaru adoption event with double the Beagle goofiness and love. After they came in to meet (and immediately fell in love) Jess, we told them that all the way across the showroom sat Wilson, a male Beagle who was looking for a home. That's all it took for them to say "why not!, we'll adopt both!" And just like that, two deserving pups found their home together! Congratulations to Jess, Wilson, and their new family! Aggieland Humane is so grateful to Sterling Subaru for creating dozens of these moments, year in and year out. THANK YOU!

On June 18th 2026 Josh and Jason from Sterling Subaru donated and handed out blankets to patients while having treatment. The warmth of the blankets does not overweigh the warmth it brings to the patients mood and smiles. Thank you Sterling Subaru.
The volunteer who couldn't walk away - Ashley Q
People stopped to say hello. They told her she was beautiful. They gave her pets and scratches. They thought about adopting her. But one by one, they walked away. But there was one volunteer who had her eye on her all morning. She wanted to give Ghost a home so badly, but she kept giving everyone else the chance to be the one lucky one. But as the event went on, Ghost was still there. For hours, Ghost waited. By the end of the day, the volunteer couldn't resist Ghost's icy blue eyes any longer and finally took the leap to adopt her! Second chances happen at Sterling Subaru! We are so grateful to them for opening their showroom to create happy endings for local pets in need. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP, STERLING SUBARU!

On April 11 2026 Sterling Subaru donated 100 trees to the community of Bryan/College Station for Arbor Day. What a great turnout, 90 of the 100 trees were picked up the day of and the rest went very quickly the next day. It's our pleasure to serve this wonderful community!

When Double and his siblings came to Aggieland Humane in a box before the New Year, they were just four weeks old. We knew we had our hands full. 11 hungry bellies. 11 sets of vaccines. 11 spay or neuter surgeries. And five weeks later? They needed families. In less than an hour at our Sterling Subaru adoption event, every single one of those once-tiny bodies was adopted by a sweet family! From a cardboard box to forever homes. This is what happens when a community shows up - and when partners like Sterling Subaru help turn showrooms into places where lives change!
Warm Feet With Subaru - Cathy C
On January 16 th 2026 Subaru Collaborated with Project Unity in providing warm shoes for Children. There was over 50 families that attended and recived brand new shoes ans socks. So many smiles and hugs. Jason and Matt are great. Almost all the shoes were given out and families that were not able to make it to the Event have stopped by to get shoes if their size is still available. We look forward to doing this Event again Next Year. Thank you Sterling/Subaru.
Casper's Healing Heart - Ashley Q
From being lost at a busy intersection to helping his new mom find healing after tragedy, Casper’s winning charm and vibrant personality carried him through it all. Thanks to Sterling Subaru, Casper didn’t have to spend much time at all in the shelter while waiting for his forever home. After just an hour at their most recent adoption event and just over a week in care, his adopter walked in, and he was on his way home. He bore such a striking resemblance to the pup she’d lost tragically that she knew she needed him for her healing journey. Now, he’s her “Buddy Boy” and the two of them are happy together– all thanks to our partnership with Subaru.

Farrah Fawcett Finds Love at Sterling Subaru - Ashley Q
Farrah Fawcett came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. She was shy, unsure, and desperately in need of a fresh start. But everything changed 82 days later when she arrived at our adoption event at Sterling Subaru. Farrah was the very first adoption of the day! Her family came specifically for her! Today, Farrah is thriving. She’s learning how to be a dog again—how to play, how to trust, and most importantly, how it feels to be loved. From hoarding to healing, Farrah’s journey reminds us why these events matter. Thank you, Sterling Subaru, for helping pets like Farrah find their happily-ever-after.
